Listed below is a summary of some of the important beliefs that help to guide our church.
God
There is one true, living God—Father, Son and Holy Spirit—eternal and in perfect unity.
Word of God
The Bible, Old and New Testaments, is inspired, infallible, and fully sufficient for faith and practice.
Gospel
God created all things good; sin brought death and separation. Through Jesus’ sacrifice, reconciliation is offered to all who believe.
Jesus
Born of a virgin, lived sinless, died for our sins, rose again, ascended, and will return to reign forever.
Salvation
We are made right with God by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Believers are baptised and share Communion to remember His sacrifice.
Holy Spirit
The Spirit empowers believers with gifts for ministry and mission, including prophecy, healing, and tongues.
Discipleship
Followers of Jesus grow in Christlikeness and partner in His mission to build His Church.
Marriage
Marriage is ordained by God as a covenant union of one man and one woman for mutual help and comfort.
True Life
True life is found in following Jesus—purposeful now and eternal in the resurrection.
