Our beliefs
Life Stream Church is part of the Assemblies of God, GB. Here's a summary of the beliefs that guide our church family.
There is one true, living God — Father, Son and Holy Spirit — eternal and in perfect unity.
The Bible, Old and New Testaments, is inspired, infallible, and fully sufficient for faith and practice.
God created all things good; sin brought death and separation. Through Jesus' sacrifice, reconciliation is offered to all who believe.
Born of a virgin, lived sinless, died for our sins, rose again, ascended, and will return to reign forever.
We are made right with God by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Believers are baptised and share Communion to remember His sacrifice.
The Spirit empowers believers with gifts for ministry and mission, including prophecy, healing, and tongues.
Followers of Jesus grow in Christlikeness and partner in His mission to build His Church.
Marriage is ordained by God as a covenant union of one man and one woman for mutual help and comfort.
True life is found in following Jesus — purposeful now and eternal in the resurrection.
