You are invited to be baptised

At Life Stream Church we practise full immersion believers baptism. That means that we baptise those who want to express that they have made a commitment to following Jesus. We don’t do infant baptism, we pray for babies but save baptism for those who have made the decision for themselves.

Why should I be baptised?

Jesus told his followers that they should be baptised. (Matt 28:19) He was even baptised himself by his cousin John.

What does baptism represent?

Baptism, as a person is taken underwater and brought up again, represents the death and resurrection of Jesus. It is a symbol of the fact that we are trusting in Jesus, and what he did on the cross, for our own salvation.

Can I be baptised?

If you are a follower of Jesus then yes. We have baptism services several times throughout the year and we run a short course to explain it further and cover any practical details. Please get in touch and let us know you’re interested.
